The Judge Advocate at a Freetown court martial trial has refused bail to three accused soldiers in the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) for allegedly conspiring with other people unknown to steal thousands of rounds of ammunition and other property belonging to the RSLAF to the tune of over six hundred million Leones.
The Head of Media and Public Relations of the Sierra Leone Police Superintendent Brima Kamara has denied as false rumors going around social media that the Inspector General of Police has ordered police officers to indiscriminatingly shoot and kill people in any public gathering.
